Meine erste Klammer aus Grünholz, um Kaffetüten, Brottüten,oder überhaupt Tüten zu verschließen, deren oberer Teil einfaches umschlagen zulassen🤩.
Das werden noch mehr Holzclips, darauf freue ich mich jetzt schon. Die halten auch super.
Was mir sehr entgegen kam beim ersten Versuch, war die Anleitung in meinem Schnitzbuch.
Randnotiz: Beim nächsten Mal werde ich die Stirnseiten rechtzeitig (wenn nötig noch kurz vor der Fertigstellung) mit Leinöl-Wachs Gemisch versiegeln, oder vorher mit Hitze behandeln, damit es nicht wieder so einen blöden Riss gibt. Wenigstens konnte ich das weiterreißen der Klammer so mit verhindern. Vielleicht war aber auch der Druck durch den Maschinenschraubstock einfach zu hoch.
Und wenn Holger aka @holzdandler euch dann noch seine Version der mittelalterlichen Klammern zeigen würde, dann wisst ihr warum mein Herz für die Klammern schlägt. 🧡

What came in handy the first time I tried was the instructions in my carving book, it worked out pretty well with that. Next time I'll seal the end faces in time (if necessary just before finishing) with linseed oil-wax mixture, or treat with heat beforehand, so there won't be such a stupid crack again. At least I could prevent the further tearing of the clamp so with. But maybe the pressure in the machine vise was just too high.
