A few days ago I received two (sponsored) carving knives from @focusercarving.
I got the detail carving knive (FC002) and the mini detail carving knive (FC018).
Today I tested them by carving a miniature luna moth from fairly fresh birchwood.
Results: the knives arrived quickly and were packaged pretty well.
They came out of the box very sharp!
They kept their edge well and the handles are comfortable.
Overall I am pleasantly supprised by these knives so far. I’ll definitely use the mini more often for the little details.

So excited to receive these new knives from @focusercarving. I think I need to make some sheaths for them.
So Used my new chip carving knife to make some simple sheaths out of basswood. Very happy with these two knives!!

1. Ind imellem for jeg lidt tid til at snitte lidt.
For det meste når knivene kommer frem og der skal snittes, er det oftest skeer og paletknive jeg for lavet.
Men ikke denne gang, for jeg blev udfordret af @thorsvangsfoto til at lave en figur for ham.
Et af kriterierne for figuren var at der skulle være et kamera med.
Og her har i så resultatet for det ønskede produkt.
Hvis der nu sidder en bag skærmen og kunne tænke sig en figur, ske eller andet lavet i træ.
Så tøv ikke med at skrive en besked med det ønskede produkt.
2. Bliver spændende at se hvilket møster disse tre skeer ender med at have når de er færdiglavet.
